Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Manager 2 to join our team at Penske Logistics LLC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing tactical direction and leadership to ensure customer requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day execution of all account activities, ensuring timely delivery of customer requirements.
  • Monitor carrier performance to optimize value delivered to the customer, quickly resolving any operations issues that may arise.
  • Develop and implement action plans to address issues affecting the supply chain network, seeking internal operating efficiencies through process and system improvements.
  • Conduct performance reviews, corrective action, and goal setting for team members, providing career development, mentoring, and promotional opportunities to create future leaders.
  • Formalize comprehensive project plans, clarifying timelines, milestones, goals, and ownership, intervening when necessary to resolve issues between project managers, operations, functional teams, and customers.
  • Review operating metrics and fix out-of-tolerance results, communicating progress to customers and leadership on a set cadence.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred with a concentration in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent.
  • 3 years of functional experience in multiple supply chain service lines (transportation, warehousing, LLP, etc.) required.
  • 2 years of supervisory or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with root cause analysis preferred.
