Data Center Specialist

As a Data Center Technician at Cynet Systems, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of high-speed network devices and fiber optic cables. This role requires a strong understanding of data communications networking and the ability to work safely with high-speed single-mode long-range optical lasers.
Key Responsibilities:
Install and swap out devices such as servers, cables, boards, routers, and switches.
Perform physical layer troubleshooting and cable patching.
Install power cables from equipment to power supply in rack.
Clean high-speed single-mode optical connections and measure, transmit, and receive on high-speed optics.
Requirements:
Experience in working in a data center environment.
Strong troubleshooting background and knowledge of technical tools such as board management controllers (BMC), cable testers, and fiber testers.
Ability to work on-call rotation, including nights and weekends.
Basic knowledge of data communications networking and network terminology.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
