Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance duties on mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and structural systems, including lubricating components, changing filters, cleaning and flushing coils, cleaning drain pans and drains, replacing belts and pulleys, checking and recording pressure, temperature, and flow readings.
  • Prepare surfaces for painting, paint, clean equipment and work areas.
  • Provide timely and courteous customer service, keeping supervisors up to date on daily work order status to ensure clear, concise, and necessary communication channels are maintained and customer expectations are met.
  • Generate material lists and acquire materials for efficient work.
  • Keep accurate records of materials used and maintain daily time reports to efficiently complete work and document details of the functions performed.
  • Assist with organizing and cleaning tasks.
  • Semi-skilled level repairs, maintenance, and inspections on heating, ventilating, air conditioning, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical systems.
  • Drive University vehicles and maintain an acceptable driver rating as established in Policy: UTS157 Section.
  • Attend staff meetings, safety training, and meetings.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience in maintenance or a related field.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
