Job Overview

Middlebury College seeks a highly motivated and organized International Education Management Coordinator to support the success of its students, faculty, and staff. This role is ideal for new or continuing IEM or IEM/MPA students who are looking to gain valuable experience in event planning, community engagement, and administrative work.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to work with the IEM program chair to build connections among IEM students, faculty, staff, and alumni. You will be responsible for planning events, managing social media, and keeping IEM communication vibrant and relevant. Additional tasks may include writing and editing website content, developing practicum resources, and general administrative work. The graduate assistant will also be guided and mentored by Dr. Wick and Team IEM colleagues, with opportunities to apply knowledge, build skills, and develop a network in the IEM community.

Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate team collaboration and foster inclusion
- Create meaningful programming and manage administrative details
- Support monthly IEM Program meetings
- Work with the IEM program chair to build connections among IEM students, faculty, staff, and alumni

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with inclusive events, community feedback, and social media communication (preferred)
