You will work closely with students, parents, and colleagues to create personalized learning experiences that promote academic achievement, social skills, and emotional intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver instruction tailored to meet the needs of students with varying abilities, using research-based methods and technology-enhanced tools.
  • Develop and maintain IEPs, progress reports, and other essential documentation to track student progress.
  • Collaborate with special education teams to ensure effective communication, data-driven decision making, and aligned interventions.
  • Provide individualized support, accommodations, and modifications to facilitate student success.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • North Carolina Teaching License and Certification in Special Education.
  • State-approved training for seclusion and restraint procedures.

Estimated Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
