About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Nurse to join our team at Providence Portland Medical Center. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in the operating room, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient operating room flow.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans, including medication administration and wound care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current Oregon Registered Nurse License.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.
  • At least one year of nursing experience in an operating room setting.
Preferred Qualifications
  • National Certification in area of specialty.
