Core Responsibilities:
Ensure the maintenance of precise and timely documentation related to the operations of the service department. Verify that all charges associated with service orders are accurately recorded. Guarantee that all service orders are finalized promptly. Process warranty claims and product enhancement requests.
Key Duties:
Represent TriGreen Equipment in a professional manner, adhering to company dress and appearance standards.
Initiate service orders as instructed by the service manager or shop foreman and oversee them until they are completed and billed.
Manage all warranty claims, including charge calculations, submissions, and follow-ups.
Keep the service library updated with current information, filing bulletins, manuals, and instructional materials under the guidance of the service manager.
Oversee all service department documentation and records.
Update customer profiles based on equipment usage or other relevant information from service orders.
Maintain inventory of service accessories and supplies, preparing reorder requests for the service manager's approval.
Collect payments from customers prior to the release of equipment.
Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Assist technicians with procurement processes.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
Comprehensive understanding of service department financial practices.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Familiarity with office operations.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Capacity to collaborate effectively within a team.
Basic knowledge of mechanical and technical terminology.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift at least 75 pounds; responsibilities may involve lifting, bending, squatting, prolonged standing, and sitting.
