Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Process Improvement Specialist to join our team at JELD-WEN. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for driving process improvements and implementing operational excellence initiatives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with plant leaders and associates to identify and implement process improvements using lean principles and tools such as A3 thinking and PDCA tracking.
- Facilitate improvement events and support process validations to ensure successful implementation of new processes.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure process performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Train and mentor other associates on process improvement methodologies and tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements that drive business results.
- Provide support for process documentation and training to ensure smooth implementation of new processes.
Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and applicable JELD-WEN software applications.
- Demonstrated ability to learn and apply process improvement methodologies and tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and support peers to achieve improved processes and results.
- Experience leading a team in improvement activities is preferred.
