You will engage in an Agile environment, working closely with product management and design teams to rapidly iterate and satisfy end-user needs. Your role will involve developing new software solutions utilizing the most advanced technologies available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Craft both high-level and detailed designs for software solutions leveraging the latest AWS technologies in a distributed setting.
  • Take the lead in establishing and applying engineering best practices while enhancing operational methodologies through data analysis.
  • Influence architectural and technological decisions for Finance Automation products.
  • Design, develop, and implement medium to large-scale software solutions tailored to Amazon's financial operations.
  • Enhance code quality focusing on security, clarity, consistency, and maintainability.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in software development.
  • At least 2 years of experience in system design or architecture for both new and existing systems.
  • Proficiency in programming with at least one software language.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Over 3 years of comprehensive software development lifecycle experience.
  • A Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
