Position Purpose:
The Marketing Content Specialist will be tasked with creating original and engaging designs, layouts, and production of promotional materials.

This encompasses white papers, brochures, product briefs, pitchbooks, trade show graphics, presentations, and the design of brand, promotional, and other interactive campaigns from concept to execution.

The role involves crafting Sysco Brand and IFG narratives that resonate with digital and social media audiences. Responsibilities include defining objectives, establishing project timelines, and ensuring tasks are completed within set service level agreements (SLAs).

Primary Responsibilities:


Accountable for generating original, compelling designs and written content for marketing materials that align with business goals, particularly focusing on the Sysco Brand.

Will implement planned strategies and contribute innovative ideas to enhance customer engagement.

Coordinate the deployment and gather customer feedback on digital platforms (Social Media) and Direct to Customer Email communications.

Collaborate closely with leadership to develop and manage promotions, internal communications, sales meetings, and trade shows.

Education:
Bachelor's degree required

Experience:
2 to 3 years of professional experience as a designer, either in-house or with a marketing or advertising agency.

A comprehensive understanding of web and print technologies and design, including HTML, page layout, and advertising campaigns. Familiarity with software programs such as InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator is essential.

Preferred:
Final Cut Pro, HTML, Flash

Other:
Microsoft Office Suite

Skills:
Execute concepts from inception through production

Implement and uphold established brand identity across various platforms

Work within set templates, ensuring brand consistency

Manage multiple time-sensitive projects concurrently


Must demonstrate the ability to work independently and constructively, adhering to strict timelines within SLAs, while collaborating with various stakeholders on the creation of tactical marketing materials such as product-specific brochures, catalogs, videos, and training resources.

Ability to thrive in a multi-project, deadline-driven environment

Possess effective communication and collaboration skills

Ability to rapidly iterate on design concepts

A proactive individual capable of adapting to unexpected project changes

Exhibit sound judgment regarding professional presentation and approach

Energetic, innovative, and possessing strong organizational capabilities
