Field Project Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Project Engineer to support the construction management, coordination, and inspection of various water/wastewater facilities. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in field construction, preferably in the water/wastewater industry.

Responsibilities and Requirements
The Field Project Engineer will assist in reviewing and interpreting project specifications and drawings. They will also provide document control, process and review RFI's, Submittals, and Shop Drawings prepared by the Contractor. Additionally, they will maintain a change order log, prepare weekly project meeting agendas, and document meetings. Other responsibilities include coordinating communication between stakeholders, performing field inspections, preparing sketches, and assembling data for design engineers. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field. A minimum of 3 years of relevant construction management/inspection or design experience is required, preferably in the water/wastewater industry. The applicant must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Good verbal and communication skills are essential, as well as basic computer skills (Microsoft office) and the ability to learn construction-specific software such as PROCORE.

Estimated Salary Range
$80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience
