About the Job:

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Support Specialist to join our team at Midtown Health Center Inc. This role will involve providing clinical and clerical support to our medical office team under the supervision of the Nursing Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer all medications and vaccines accurately and document in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
  • Manage the agency's medication inventory, including supply management, disbursement, distribution, use, and destruction of medications and related supplies.
  • Process and store items at designated locations accurately.
  • Maintain records of supplies and materials.
  • Serve as the Vaccine for Children program coordinator, responsible for vaccine monitoring, ordering, and inventory control.
  • Provide clinical services, including verifying patient information, supporting patient care delivery, and maintaining a safe and secure environment.
Requirements:
  • Medication Aide Certification required.
  • Two years of experience in a medical office or related experience preferred.
  • Current certificate in Basic Life Support (BLS) and a valid driver's license.
