Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team at Brevard County FL. As an Electrical Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for the installation, alteration, maintenance, and repair of facility and/or industrial electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform skilled crafts and trade work in the installation, alteration, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Work on shift schedules, including stand-by, overtime, and holidays as needed.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Develop and implement electrical system designs and plans.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Requirements
  • Three (3) years of experience in industrial electrical systems.
  • Successful completion of coursework in electrical technology at an accredited vocational-technical school or community college may be substituted for the required experience on a year for year basis.
  • Must possess a valid Florida Driver's license and maintain said license during the term of employment.
  • Must be physically capable at all times of properly wearing and utilizing all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Must be able to work planned and unplanned overtime, standby, and call out duties on a rotational basis, and nights, weekends, and holidays, when necessary.
Working Conditions
  • Work at heights above/below ground level.
  • Work in cold, dampness or chilly conditions.
  • Work in heat, high humidity, dusty conditions, or with moving objects or vehicles.
  • Work on or with ladders or scaffolding, on slippery or uneven walking surfaces.
  • Work with chemicals or solvents, electricity, feet, legs or hands in water, fumes, smoke, gases or flames, grease, hazardous materials, lawn grasses, plants, etc., odors, oils, poor lighting, poor ventilation, silica, fiberglass, etc., vibrations (jackhammers, etc.), work alone, work inside, work outside, works Closely with Others.
