Lead Electrical Systems Engineer

As a Lead Electrical Systems Engineer at Avidyne, you will be instrumental in guiding the design, development, and refinement of electrical circuits, components, and systems for our pioneering avionics products.
Your role will encompass a range of responsibilities including the planning of board-level architecture, designing and testing interfaces, reviewing and approving design modifications, and managing specific segments of our product design initiatives.

Core responsibilities for our Lead Electrical Systems Engineers include:Innovative Design: Spearhead and contribute to the design, documentation, and testing of digital processor circuit boards, interfacing with various sensors vital to flight systems.
Quality Assurance: Oversee segments of design projects, engaging in reviews and implementing design modifications to ensure successful project outcomes.
Process Enhancement: Design, fabricate, and test CPU, GPU, Data-bus, memory, and FPGA interfaces, contributing to ongoing product enhancement and innovation.
Collaborative Engagement: Build cooperative relationships with internal teams and customers, providing your expertise throughout the product lifecycle.
Effective Communication: Deliver clear and concise written and verbal communications to internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring effective collaboration and timely project advancement.
Mentorship: Guide junior engineering professionals, sharing your knowledge and expertise to support their development within our organization.
To excel in this role, we seek candidates who not only possess technical skills but also demonstrate a capacity to learn and adapt in our dynamic industry.
A Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in schematic/layout design and testing PCBs for product integration, is essential (or a master's degree with 3 years of similar experience).
