Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the posting of daily cash receipts, ensuring accurate application to customer accounts and invoices based on provided documentation.
  • Assist in month-end closing processes for the Accounts Receivable team.
  • Continuously track unapplied customer payments to ensure timely application to invoices and collaborate with accounting staff for proper coding of miscellaneous receipts.
  • Prepare documentation for payment discrepancies and work with team members and customers to resolve account issues promptly.
  • Generate monthly compliance reports regarding international sales and receipts.
  • Perform additional Accounts Receivable tasks as required and support the Credit team in managing accounts and evaluating credit risk.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of two years of experience in accounts receivable is required.
  • An Associate's Degree or a comparable combination of education and experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, particularly intermediate Microsoft Excel, and the ability to learn specialized software (e.g., Oracle, SAI).
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills are essential.
  • A solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles is necessary.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to identify errors, duplications, or omissions in work performed.
  • Proficiency in data entry and 10-key operations is required.
