Compassionate Substance Abuse Counseling Supervisor Needed

BayMark Health Services is seeking a compassionate and experienced Substance Abuse Counseling Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our treatment team, you will be responsible for supervising counselors and counselor interns, ensuring timely documentation of patient services, and managing related expenditures in a fiscally responsible manner.

Responsibilities:
  • Assign and manage counselor caseloads, making adjustments as needed
  • Conduct quality assurance file reviews to ensure compliance with Federal and State regulations
  • Direct and supervise all intake operations, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of counseling services
  • Maintain accurate and current clinical records, adhering to Federal and State regulations
  • Provide direct supervision to clinicians, including meetings, in-service trainings, and literature reviews
  • Act as Treatment Center Director in the absence of the Director
  • Perform other related duties as determined by the supervisor
Qualifications:
  • Current CAC-AD, LCPC, LCSW, LGADC, or LCADC licensure as a Counselor at The Professional Board of Counselors & Therapist State of Maryland
  • Supervisory letter
  • Prior supervisory experience, self-motivation, and direction
  • Previous experience working with chemically dependent individuals, demonstrating a non-judgmental and accepting attitude toward our patient population
  • Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check
