Compassionate Substance Abuse Counseling Supervisor Needed

At BayMark Health Services, we are seeking a skilled Counselor Supervisor to lead our team of counselors and counselor interns in providing high-quality treatment and casework services to patients. As a Counselor Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising the counselors and counselor interns, ensuring timely documentation of patient services, and managing related expenditures in a fiscally responsible manner.

Responsibilities:
  • Assigns counselors caseloads, amends when necessary
  • Conducts quality assurance file reviews
  • Directs and supervises all intake operations
  • Ensures efficient and effective delivery of counseling services to all patients
  • Maintains accurate and current clinical records in accordance with Federal and State Regulations
  • Provides direct supervision to clinicians and assists in ongoing supervision of staff through meetings, in-service trainings, and reviewing literature
  • Acts as Treatment Center Director when absent

Qualifications:
  • Current CAC-AD, LCPC, LCSW, LGADC, or LCADC as a Counselor at The Professional Board of Counselors & Therapist State of Maryland
  • Supervisory letter
  • Prior supervisory experience, self-motivated, and directed
  • Previous experience working with chemically dependent individuals, demonstrating a non-judgmental and accepting attitude toward our patient population
  • Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check
