">The Leidos organization delivers a full range of transformative engineering, science, and technology solutions primarily in support of NASA and the burgeoning commercial civil space market. Additionally, Leidos' Science and Infrastructure group supports various other civil market customers by providing research and development, logistics, environmental engineering, and mission-critical support.
">About This Role
">As a Director of Strategic Programs, you will thrive in an environment where you manage and execute pre-award and post-award activities across multiple projects and business priorities. The successful candidate will identify gaps and emerging requirements, conduct market and economic analysis, develop and drive formal capture plans, and monitor competitor activity. You will oversee strategic projects for the Division, assist in developing the overall growth strategy for SEMO, and foster internal and external partnerships.
">Main Responsibilities
">- Participate as part of the Division leadership team to support overall strategic planning and execution of activities delivering Division growth.
- Identify, develop, and implement near-term and long-term business strategies to provide the business an opportunity to grow revenue.
- Participate in capture and proposal reviews to drive high capture quality; may lead capture efforts.
- Perform business development activities, such as investigating potential partnerships, joint ventures, new business/market opportunities, and sustainability.
- Continuously monitor the market to keep track of competitor developments and their impact on market share.
- Participate in business planning activities, including opportunity collaboration sessions and gate reviews.
- Provide leadership and program/project management of programs and projects as needed by the Division.
Requirements and Qualifications
">- Bachelor's Degree and 12+ years of related experience.
- Knowledgeable and current regarding NASA and commercial space senior leaders and decision makers.
- Experience successfully managing multi-million-dollar business budgets – full P&L responsibilities.
- Demonstrated ability interacting and building relationships with key customer organizations.
- Strong collaboration skills and demonstrated experience building internal and external industry partnerships.
- Able to deliver exceptional results as a leader of matrixed teams across various program/project types.
- US Citizenship or US Permanent Residency and the ability to successfully obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance.
Compensation Package
">This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $134,550 to $243,225 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
