We are looking for a Head of Risk Management Strategy to ensure the financial stability and operational integrity of the organization. This pivotal role requires a deep understanding of risk management principles, insurance compliance, and the administration of insurance policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a robust risk management framework that aligns with industry standards and regulatory mandates.
  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize potential risks across the organization, including operational, financial, legal, strategic, compliance, and reputational aspects.
  • Design and implement effective risk mitigation strategies to reduce the likelihood and impact of potential losses.
  • Oversee risk financing initiatives, including the procurement of insurance, management of claims, and implementation of loss control measures.
  • Stay informed on emerging risks and industry developments, adjusting risk management strategies as necessary.
  • Promote a culture of risk awareness by providing training and resources to employees at all levels.
  • Conduct regular assessments and audits of organizational operations to evaluate the effectiveness of risk management controls.
  • Clearly communicate risk-related information to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Manage the budget for the risk management department.
  • Lead and mentor a team of risk management professionals, fostering their professional growth.
  • Represent the organization at various risk management and insurance meetings.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree or higher is preferred but not mandatory.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in risk management, demonstrating a successful track record in developing and executing risk management programs.
  • Certification in Risk Management (CRM, FRM, or equivalent) is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Financial accounting and legal knowledge is beneficial but not essential for this role.
