Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of computer-controlled plant equipment, power distribution systems, and electrical instrumentation. This is a critical role that requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of computer-controlled plant equipment, including closed-loop process controls and continuous emission monitors.
  • Maintain power distribution systems and electrical instrumentation, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Plan, implement, and manage electrical and instrumentation regulatory programs, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and instrumentation equipment, using technical expertise and problem-solving skills.
  • Install power, control wiring, and conduit as required, ensuring safe and efficient electrical systems.
  • Attend company training sessions and relevant classes, education, and training sessions to stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, wire diagrams, and technical data/diagrams, applying technical knowledge and analytical skills.
  • Practice safe work habits, adhere to safety policies and procedures, and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent on-the-job injuries.
  • Be prepared to take on additional duties as assigned by the supervisor, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to teamwork.
  • Ensure adherence to safety and environmental standards when performing electrical maintenance on plant equipment, utilities, and infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and perform regular preventative maintenance on all plant motors (Low and Medium Voltage), as well as other related equipment.
  • Carry out preventative maintenance and repairs on Low and Medium Voltage circuit breakers, transformers, coils, and other related electrical equipment.
  • Be available for emergency call-out maintenance outside of regular scheduled shifts, as needed to support continuous production.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of certification(s) in Industrial Electrical principles or related field.
  • Must have Industrial Electrical experience.
  • Ability to work in extreme heat and cold, exposed to external weather conditions.
  • Ability to work in noisy and dusty conditions.
Working Conditions

The Industrial Electrical Maintenance Specialist will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with exposure to various weather conditions, noise, and dust. The role requires the ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds independently and tolerate moderate noise levels.
