Industrial Electrician

Grupo Argos S.A. is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team. As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for overseeing all computer-controlled plant equipment, maintaining power distribution systems, and troubleshooting electrical and instrumentation equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee all computer-controlled plant equipment, including closed-loop process controls and continuous emission monitors.
- Maintain power distribution systems and all instrument/control systems.
- Plan, implement, and manage electrical and instrumentation regulatory programs.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and instrumentation equipment as needed.
- Install power, control wiring, and conduit as required.
- HS Diploma/GED.
- Minimum of certification(s) in Industrial Electrical principles or related field.
- Must have Industrial Electrical experience.
The Industrial Electrician will work in a fast-paced environment with occasional exposure to walking on rocky, irregular surfaces, moving mechanical parts, electrical equipment, high and/or confined spaces, fumes, airborne particles, and outside weather conditions.
The Industrial Electrician must be able to lift and/or move up to fifty (50) lbs. independently and tolerate moderate noise levels.
The Industrial Electrician will be required to attend company training sessions for safety, equipment modification/updates, and process changes, as well as relevant classes, education, and training sessions for this position, as needed.
The Industrial Electrician must be able to work as part of a team and individually to ensure timely repairs through troubleshooting techniques and be able to perform effective preventative maintenance inspections.
The Industrial Electrician must be familiar with electrical symbols, capable of reading single-line diagrams, electrical prints, and P&IDs, and able to locate the relevant sections of the code.
The Industrial Electrician must be able to research circuit diagrams and equipment data using both electronic documents and printed media in order to identify the correct solutions to problems.
