Key Responsibilities:

  • Support high-priority issues in the field
  • Reproduce issues in the lab to identify hardware or software problems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve escalated Access and CPE device field issues
  • Perform assessments on existing technologies to determine performance and capacity gaps
  • Establish security, connectivity, and access parameters
  • Provide recommendations to optimize network infrastructure
  • Test and tune security devices and systems
  • Program routers and switches
  • Implement communications technologies
  • Manage network services from planning phase through implementation

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of DOCSIS (at least 3.1 and above)
  • Experience troubleshooting CPE and ONU
  • Experience working with CMTS platforms like Casa C100G, Arris E6000, and Cisco cBR8
  • Understanding of routing protocols including OSPF, ISIS, BGP, V4/V6 multicast
  • Experience with switch platforms like Cisco NCS/ASR or Juniper PTX/QFX/ACX
  • Working knowledge of RPHY - Harmonic vCMTS and RPDs and Vecima RPDs
  • Working knowledge of EPON platforms including: ADTRAN 95XX and SDX-6210, Vecima (Nokia) 7360 and Distributed Access Architecture SF-4x, SC-2D3

Team: The team consists of 7 engineers, and we are looking to add 5 more.
