Job Title: Lead Network Architect

At the Colorado Judicial Branch, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Network Architect to join our team. This is a hybrid work position, and the successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the Judicial Department's network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement short and long-term strategic plans to ensure the Judicial Department's network capacity meets existing and future business requirements.
  • Develop and deploy methodologies for testing network performance and providing network performance statistics and reports.
  • Provide architectural consulting expertise, mentoring, and leadership to other Network and Unified Communication Engineers and the Architectural Review Governance Team.
  • Responsible for designing Judicial Department LANs, WANS, virtual networks, wireless networks, and unified communication systems, including routers, switches, wireless access points, and other necessary network and communication devices.
  • Ensure network services have sufficient capacity, stability, and agility to satisfy service level agreements with business units.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field and six years' experience working with Cisco routers and switches.
  • CCNA is required, and CCDA is highly preferred.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will be working in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions, multiple calls, and inquiries. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
