Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and other issues with trucks and trailers
  • Perform disassembly, repair, and reassembly of truck engines, transmissions, and other components
  • Use precision instruments and shop machines to complete repairs
  • Read and understand technical publications, including service manuals and service bulletins
  • Order and manage parts using the dealer management system
  • Complete work accurately and timely, as outlined in published time standards manual
  • Write detailed descriptions of work performed using the dealer management system
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma desired
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a mechanic
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to read and write in English and understand computer-generated reports
  • Ability to operate various computer diagnostic devices, PCs, and laptops
