POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a proficient Senior Financial Accountant to enhance our finance department in Fort Lauderdale. The successful applicant will possess a robust foundation in accounting principles, financial disclosures, and payroll management. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Key responsibilities include:
  • Execute accounting functions in accordance with GAAP standards
  • Generate financial statements for internal management and external stakeholders
  • Reconcile financial accounts to ensure precision
  • Support audit processes and clarify policy-related inquiries
  • Engage in budget formulation and oversight
  • Manage financial systems projects
  • Investigate and rectify financial inconsistencies
  • Oversee and ensure timely payroll tax submissions
JOB REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience, including public sector accounting
