Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our team at Arbor Research. As a key member of our data science team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of advanced statistical methods and data analysis techniques to support our research initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement statistical models and data analysis techniques to address complex research questions
  • Collaborate with research investigators to design and implement data collection and analysis plans
  • Lead and mentor junior data analysts and researchers to ensure high-quality data analysis and reporting
  • Develop and maintain databases and data systems to support research initiatives
  • Communicate complex data analysis results to non-technical stakeholders
Requirements
  • Master's degree or PhD in a quantitative field (statistics, biostatistics, epidemiology, economics, public health, public policy, etc.)
  • Demonstrated history of statistical programming experience with progression in responsibilities
  • At least 4 years of professional experience with statistical software; SAS, R, or Python preferred
  • Excellent understanding of statistical concepts and substantial knowledge in analytical approaches for health care (e.g., survival analysis)
  • Strong mentoring skills including supervisory or teaching experience
  • Ability to lead analytic sub-projects with little to no oversight; demonstrated project leadership ability
  • Contributions to field of health services research, biostatistics, or epidemiology demonstrated by a combination of peer-reviewed publications and written reports
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with a wide variety of audiences, including sponsors and policy makers
Preferred Qualifications
  • Federal contract experience with a professional services firm similar to Arbor Research
  • Experience with health care administrative data analysis, including but not limited to Medicare and Medicaid data in the CMS Virtual Research Data Center
Compensation

Base Compensation is determined by market range and geographic location pay zones. Base Compensation also includes various individual factors unique to each candidate such as job level, prior experience, skill set, certification and educational which may impact the compensation structure.
