Job Summary

Under the general direction of the Radiology IT Director, the Senior Business Systems Analyst will perform duties designed to maximize the utilization of AI across Michigan Medicine's Enterprise Imaging applications.

This position involves the implementation and management of AI applications and algorithms, with an emphasis on data analytics and monitoring algorithm performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Enterprise Imaging AI program, including workflow assessment, application troubleshooting, performance monitoring, and onboarding of new AI algorithms/applications.
  • Participate in the development and expansion of the Enterprise Imaging AI program.
  • Implement and manage AI applications and algorithms, focusing on data analytics and monitoring performance.
  • Perform statistical analysis of AI algorithm performance and drift, ensuring long-term reliability.
  • Update and enhance existing GPT models used for Enterprise Imaging support.
  • Monitor and track the ROI of AI applications to ensure they deliver value to the organization.
  • Assist in the evaluation and testing of new and emerging AI technologies and algorithms, assessing their functionality and potential to replace older systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years professional experience.
  • Intermediate Level Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, 2-3 years of professional experience.
  • Desired Qualifications: Experience using SQL, Epic Clarity certification, proficiency in using statistics to compile data, extrapolate trends, and perform complex analyses, project management skills, especially related to new software implementation, exposure to Sectra, Mach7 eUnity, and Epic, knowledge of medical imaging and image processing, familiarity with image visualization software and clinical imaging workflows.
Work Environment

This position is being offered as a Hybrid position. There will be times that it will be appropriate for you to work from home. There will be other times that you will be required to work onsite for meetings, training, implementation go-lives, etc. May require working during non-business hours and on weekends. On-Call rotation may be required for this position.
