Currently, we are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused System Administrator to enhance our operations. This role is pivotal in maintaining the integrity and performance of our IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the maintenance, configuration, and dependable operation of computer systems and network servers.
  • Facilitate upgrades to hardware and software, manage virtual servers, and implement automation processes while troubleshooting hardware and software issues through diagnostics and documentation.
  • Assist in the creation of documentation and technical specifications for planning and executing new or upgraded IT infrastructure, including regular backup operations and disaster recovery processes.
  • Support desktop and helpdesk functions, ensuring prompt resolution of issues related to desktop applications and workstations.
  • Oversee Kubernetes system administration within a DevOps CI/CD framework.
  • Configure Kubernetes for auto-provisioning and auto-scaling of CI/CD job/build agents and assist in designing clusters and networking for various deployment environments.
  • Manage capacity planning, storage, and database performance while monitoring all installed systems and infrastructure.
  • Possess a solid understanding of digital engineering methodologies and experience in configuring and maintaining IT systems.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in an IT-related field. Alternatively, four (4) years of additional experience with a High School diploma or two (2) years with an Associate's degree. A Master's degree may substitute for two (2) years of experience, while a Ph.D. may substitute for four (4) years.
  • At least two (2) years of experience specific to this position.
  • Must obtain IAT Level-II Certification within six months of starting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Possession of relevant industry-standard certifications such as Microsoft, Red Hat Linux, AWS, or VMware.
  • Experience with scripting languages and automation tools like Ansible, Salt, or Puppet.
  • Additional relevant industry-standard certifications.

Clearance Requirements:

  • An active TOP SECRET clearance is required.

Physical Requirements:

  • The individual in this role must be able to remain stationary for 50% of the time and occasionally move about the office to access equipment and communicate with colleagues.
