Your expertise in psychopathology and ability to recognize timely clinical treatment interventions will be invaluable in this role.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct timely and accurate assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning for members, utilizing your knowledge of psychopathology and clinical treatment modalities.
  • Treatment Intervention: Develop and implement effective treatment plans, selecting the most appropriate treatment modalities for each member's presenting problem.
  • Communication and Documentation: Effectively communicate clinical material to members and clinical staff, ensuring seamless care coordination and documentation of clinical encounters in member charts.
  • Resource Utilization: Stay up-to-date on Kaiser Permanente and community resources, providing members with access to necessary support services.
  • Compliance and Quality: Adhere to all mandated guidelines for patient care and licensure, maintaining a high level of professionalism and expertise in your field.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Experience: Two (2) years of post-graduate mental health therapy experience within the last five (5) years required.
  • Education: Masters degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or other field related to behavioral health required.
  • Licensure: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (California) OR Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (California) OR Licensed Clinical Social Worker (California) required.
