Medical Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team at Kintegra Health. As a Medical Assistant - Float Position, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Fulfill patient care responsibilities as assigned and within the MA scope of practice, including vital signs, procedures, and patient education.
- Assist patients in navigating care through the encounter process to minimize ambiguity.
- Accurately document all aspects of patient encounters required for job functions.
- Track and document closed loop communication with patients, including labs, return calls, refills, and more.
- Communicate with external and internal parties as needed to facilitate continuity of care.
- Fulfill supportive assignments on time and unprompted, including performing controls, instrument maintenance, infection control, ordering, sorting, storing supplies, and restocking.
- Patient teaching and care plan support.
- Guard patient privacy and comply with HIPAA regulations at all times.
- Actively participate in QI activities.
- Participate in staff meetings as required.
- Complete annual competencies within the required time frame.
- Ability to communicate effectively in the English language in person, by phone, and in writing.
- Monday – Friday 8a-5p
