Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Radius Staffing Solutions. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using advanced equipment to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Examines requests and verifies orders on each assigned patient
- Assists Radiologists in the performance of invasive procedures
- Evaluates the technical quality of exams and develops a superior varied technique for elevated efficiency in the department
- Reports malfunctioning equipment to the Assistant Director, Lead Sonographer, and/or Engineer
- Operates the Radiology computer system to include entering and charging exams and supplies
- Maintains assigned work area in a neat and orderly fashion
- Assists in keeping the area completely stocked
- Adheres to departmental rules and regulations while performing professionally always
- Works a 4/10's shift, Monday-Thursday 7 pm-5:30 am
Requirements:
- Certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (S) required
- BLS HCP certification from AHA is required
