ROLE OF THE SPONSORSHIP OPERATIONS SPECIALIST

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee the complete sponsorship fulfillment process for all available inventory, including live events, digital platforms, and thought leadership initiatives, from onboarding to execution and post-event evaluations.
  • Conduct regular client meetings to nurture relationships and ensure timely delivery of sponsorship commitments.
  • Develop and manage annual deliverable plans for sponsors to guarantee all activities are executed as scheduled and yield expected returns.
  • Act as the primary contact for sponsors, facilitating event information and coordinating the collection of necessary materials.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to innovate sponsorship offerings and exhibit packages for various events.
  • Coordinate with the finance team to ensure prompt invoicing and collection of sponsorship revenues.
  • Manage sponsor relations during events to ensure a seamless experience.
  • Enhance feedback mechanisms to identify areas for program improvement.
  • Stay updated on industry trends in sponsorship, including pricing and packaging strategies.
  • Create and maintain templates for annual sponsorship recaps to support renewal discussions.
  • Oversee data management processes for event registrations and satisfaction surveys.
  • Utilize various software tools to support sponsorship operations effectively.
  • Lead the management of the event registration platform, ensuring accurate inventory and pricing updates.
  • Recommend improvements to processes and reporting for enhanced efficiency.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communication, Marketing, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • 3-4 years of relevant experience in sponsorship or account management.
  • Proven ability to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with business partners.
  • Exceptional organizational and prioritization capabilities.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Understanding of marketing principles.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment and perform well under pressure.
  • Experience interacting with senior executives.
  • Willingness to learn and excel in event sponsorship initiatives.
  • Strong initiative and the capacity to work independently.
  • Adaptability and resourcefulness in addressing challenges.

COMPENSATION

Salary range: $68,000 - $75,000 plus corporate bonus.

WORK LOCATION & TRAVEL

  • Hybrid work model; 2 days onsite, 3 days remote.
  • Travel may be required up to 25% of the time, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
