Job Title: Program Coordinator

Join The Salvation Army team as a Program Coordinator, where you will play a vital role in supporting individuals in their journey to rehabilitation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting screening interviews, processing admitted beneficiaries, and maintaining ongoing contact with referral sources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct screening interviews with applicants seeking admission to the program
  • Process admitted beneficiaries, including orienting them to the program, explaining rules and regulations, and obtaining necessary signatures
  • Maintain ongoing contact with referral sources to ensure referrals at an adequate level to maintain program integrity
  • Prepare reports and statistical information as required by the Center Administrator
  • Maintain confidentiality of all records, including discharged files, as needed and required for operation of the program
Requirements:
  • BA in a Social Service field preferred
  • Two (2) years of related experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, MSWord, Excel, and Access with ability to learn additional software as appropriate
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Professional judgment and integrity in holding in confidence all information pertaining to beneficiaries, families, and co-workers
