We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse to join our team at Ascension. As a Critical Care Registered Nurse, you will provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, including medication administration, wound care, and respiratory therapy.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and oxygen saturation.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds to discuss patient care plans and progress.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Document patient care and progress in a timely and accurate manner.
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification within 6 months of hire date.
- One year of experience in a critical care setting, preferably in an ICU or CCU.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
