Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing care to patients in the Outpatient Short Stay department, utilizing evidence-based practice and clinical judgment to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs and goals of each patient.
- Assess, diagnose, and treat human responses to health problems, utilizing critical thinking and problem-solving skills to ensure effective patient care.
- Document patient care and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner, utilizing electronic medical records and other documentation tools as needed.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote safe and effective patient care.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Michigan.
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- BLS Provider certification from the AHA.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the AHA.
- Associate's degree in Nursing (AAS) or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program.
