Children's Ministry Program Manager

The Sammamish Presbyterian Church is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as the Lead Childrens Ministry Coordinator. This part-time role will be responsible for coordinating and implementing various programs for children, including Sunday morning activities, VBS, and MomCo events.
Job Description:In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and their families by providing spiritual formation, support, and guidance. You will work closely with volunteers, staff, and other ministry leaders to ensure that all programs are Christ-centered, relational, age-appropriate, safe, and engaging.
Main Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the Director of Childrens Ministry to shape and maintain a fresh vision for childrens ministry, planning for the future of the entire ministry within the Department.
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to engage and retain volunteers involved in Childrens Ministry.
- Schedule and coordinate events for Parents/Families, ensuring seamless execution and excellent guest experience.
- Foster healthy relationships with SPC Parents/Families through regular communication and follow-up.
This position requires a self-starter with strong management, organizational, and leadership skills. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion. A warm, joyful, nurturing presence and experience in working with children and overseeing programs for children are essential qualities for success in this role.
Requirements:- A professed commitment to Jesus Christ.
- Biblical knowledge/training.
- Experience in working with children and overseeing programs for children.
- Demonstrated self-starter with strong management, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
- Must submit and pass a background check.
This is a part-time, non-exempt role requiring 10-15 hours per week. Hours include Sunday mornings, some weekends, and holidays. Estimated salary: $24,000 - $36,000 per year, depending on experience.
