Job Description

The Children's Ministry Coordinator will be responsible for collaborating and implementing various aspects of SPC Kids, including Sunday Morning Children's Ministry, VBS, and MomCo. This role involves recruiting and leading volunteers, supporting events for parents and families, and building healthy relationships within the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with leadership to shape and maintain a fresh vision for children's ministry
  • Inspire faith development in children, youth, and families through weekly Sunday SPC Kids Ministry
  • Ensure that all programs are Christ-centered, relational, age-appropriate, safe, and engaging
Requirements
  • A professed commitment to Jesus Christ
  • Biblical knowledge/training
  • A warm, joyful, nurturing presence
  • Experience in working with children and overseeing programs
  • Demonstrated self-starter with strong management, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
  • Must submit and pass a background check
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
  • Experience using social media platforms to connect with a community
Salary and Benefits

This part-time position is non-exempt, with an estimated salary range of $23-$35 per hour. Hours are approximately 10-15 hours per week, including Sundays, some weekends, and holidays.
