About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Vascular Access Nurse to join our team at Fresenius Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing vascular access procedures, including pre, during, and post-procedure care.
  • Assist physicians during procedures, maintaining a sterile technique and adhering to facility policies and procedures.
  • Monitor patient condition, identify potential complications, and communicate with facility management as needed.
  • Administer medications and IV moderate sedation to patients as directed by physicians.
  • Perform point-of-care laboratory testing, IV insertion, and other tasks as designated by physicians.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure and ACLS certification.
  • 4-6 years of experience in Ambulatory Surgical Center/Vascular Access, Cardiac Cath Lab, or a combination of ASC, surgical, Interventional Radiology, and ICU/CCU or emergency department experience.
  • Proficient in IV insertion, cardiac rhythm recognition, and medical database software.
