Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Admissions and Outreach Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing recruitment strategies, providing career advisement to prospective students, and representing York Technical College at various events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies to engage and inform prospective students about educational opportunities at York Technical College.
  • Provide career advisement to prospective students using college technology and career assessment tools.
  • Represent York Technical College at middle, high school, community, and business/industry events to promote educational opportunities.
  • Manage and organize campus tour requests, ensuring a welcoming and informative experience for prospective students.
  • Utilize the CRM system to access student data, document outreach and follow-up, and provide regular quantitative reports on territory management and career advisement outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least two years of experience in recruiting and outreach, college admissions, and/or college recruitment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with academic advising principles and registration practices
  • Previous experience in territory management and reporting
  • Experience with CRM systems and data management
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
