This position involves detailed engineering tasks within the valuation process, including production data forecasting, type curve development, lease operating expense (LOE) analysis, and strategic development planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive technical evaluations, analyzing and presenting data to identify critical performance indicators and economic implications.
  • Create compelling presentation materials for pre-marketing documents and data room showcases utilizing client or publicly available data.
  • Lead or support the coordination of project mandates and external meetings as necessary.
  • Execute engineering workflows such as production data forecasting, type curve development, LOE analysis, and strategic planning.
  • Collaborate with A&D and finance teams to conduct thorough economic assessments.
  • Organize data rooms based on information provided by clients.
  • Promote assets to prospective buyers by delivering analyses to large audiences and addressing buyer inquiries.
  • Assist with various technical project-related tasks as needed.
  • Support the growth of new business opportunities.
  • Evaluate risks associated with business decisions, ensuring the firm's reputation is upheld and compliance with relevant laws and regulations is maintained.

Qualifications:

  • 3-6+ years of experience in a related reservoir engineering capacity.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Spotfire, and economic analysis software such as Aries, PHDWin, and ComboCurve; coding skills are advantageous.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Fundamental understanding of cash flow, economic principles, and return on investment.
  • Demonstrated capability to assess technical risks in economic evaluations.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple concurrent projects in a high-stakes environment.
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong influencing and relationship management abilities.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
