Optical Department Manager Lead

We are seeking an experienced Optical Department Manager to join our team at Rosen Optometry (C). This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership skills, technical knowledge of optical lens properties, and excellent customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the Optical department, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records, schedule appointments, and collect payments in a timely manner.
- Obtain insurance information, facilitate billing, and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Process orders with laboratories, maintain inventory levels, and ensure a clean and organized dispensary area.
- Educate patients on eyewear options, properly fit and adjust eyewear, and promote sales of eye products.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Outstanding customer service skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and basic computer skills.
- Sales and optical dispensing skills, including knowledge of insurance benefits and claims submission.
- ABO certification preferred but not required.
The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
