About the Job

Gorilla Energy is a leading energy brand disrupting the category and launching in the US in 2024. Backed by founding partner expertise across various beverage brands, Gorilla Energy is not a typical start-up beverage company. With a history of proven success in great-tasting items with transparent ingredients, social and distribution partnerships, we are seeking a Field Sales Representative to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for selling Gorilla Energy to independent retail outlets, working with store owners and decision-makers to secure and maintain new distribution in assigned market areas. This role requires a self-starter with an entrepreneur mindset, able to work remotely but living within 25 miles of the market area territory. Target locations for this role are Glendale and Del Mar, CA.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with store owners and decision-makers to secure and maintain new distribution of Gorilla Energy in assigned market areas.
  • Reset shelves to display Gorilla Energy products and provide samples to store owners.
  • Place Point of Sale (POS) material, including shelf tags, brand awareness, and displays, to promote Gorilla Energy products.
  • Educate store owners on how to order products from Gorilla Energy DSD partners and provide training on the Gorilla Customer Management App.
  • Attend team meetings as directed by your manager, usually through team calls, to stay informed and aligned with the team's goals and objectives.
  • Use the Gorilla Customer Management App to route, schedule, and plan your day/week, tracking progress and following up on DSD ordering gaps.
  • Share best practices and competitor insights with team members and provide feedback on continuous improvement in ways of working.
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of experience in the Food &/or Beverage Industry, with selling and merchandising experience at store level.
  • Experience in DSD (Direct Store Delivery) distribution networks is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and have a smart phone to use for daily routing.
  • Continued access to a personal vehicle that can transport up to 20 sample cases (12 count case of 16oz cans).
  • High School diploma or the equivalent required.
  • Strong Relationship Building Skills.
Compensation and Benefits

The approximate pay range for this position is $65,000 - $70,000. There is also an incentive plan for new store distribution secured by each FSR. The pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of the posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location.

Gorilla Energy offers a competitive total rewards package, including healthcare coverage, $.67/mile mileage reimbursement, cell phone reimbursement, and 401k options.
