Key Responsibilities:
The Nursing Administration Leader will:

  • Assist the Director of Nursing with administrative tasks and oversee nursing personnel.
  • Act as a liaison between nursing units and the Director of Nursing.
  • Facilitate meetings to address resident care and operational issues.
  • Monitor and evaluate nursing staff performance and recommend training as needed.
  • Manage departmental budgets and ensure compliance with care standards.
  • Conduct regular audits of nursing documentation and care plans.
  • Support the professional development of nursing staff through training and mentorship.

Qualifications:
Education:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
Licenses/Certification:
Valid RN license in the state of employment is preferred; valid LPN license acceptable.
Current CPR certification is required.
Experience:
A minimum of seven years in nursing, with at least two years in a supervisory role within a long-term care setting.
