Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as program support to the government Program Manager (PM) with responsibility for technical knowledge of the assigned teams and programs/projects.
  • Provide technical guidance and recommendations related to the integration of National Systems-based capabilities across the enterprise.
  • Engage with the national and tactical communities to collaboratively design, document, validate, and deliver architectures, systems, and innovative ground capabilities in support of the national space architecture.
  • Support the Tech Director, portfolio management, mission threads, architecture, interoperability, cross-program strategies, and synchronized deliverables.
  • Participate in architectural forums and architecture development efforts.
  • Support Agile-based program management and implementation of a Model-Base Systems Engineering approach.
  • Lead IPT meetings and review process boards to include but not limited to ERBs, CCBs, SRRs, CDRs, PDRs, and PMRs.
  • Support the PM in multiple areas which include systems, mission, and enterprise engineering; program management; acquisition support; analytic support; technical analysis; user requirement management/development; architecture; and customer outreach and support.
  • Serve as technical expert in their assigned area.
  • Other responsibilities include administrative and technical support to the Government leadership team, internal cross coordination, external mission partners, and other DoD/IC customers.

Requirements:

  • Must have an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with a Counter-Intelligence Polygraph.
  • Bachelor's degree in STEM field.
  • Experience in Project and Systems Engineering, with emphasis on Government acquisition in DoD or IC.
  • Possess strong Systems Engineering discipline with strategic planning, architecture, and requirements experience.
  • Experience working space and ground programs from architecture-definition documentation (ADD/CONOPS) through requirements derivation and allocation, performance metric generation and assessment, test case development, and requirement closure tracing.
  • Ability to facilitate commonality within the enterprise by defining, architecting, and integrating a multi-INT, multi-sensor, and multi-nodal processing capability.
  • Ability to problem solve in a rapidly changing environment and interface with the customer daily.
  • Track and respond to office tasking, build and present program briefings, and update project schedules and calendars.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is $70,800 - $237,050 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
