The Space and Intelligence Sector is seeking an Expert-level Systems Engineer to work within our dynamic Sensor Integration team. This team supports the Government by providing systems engineering and integration support for NGA's Sensor Integrations (TIS) Office.

Candidates require a solid understanding of cloud engineering and will act as the Lead Engineer's liaison to AWS to ensure the expected services/products are delivered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide systems engineering and integration support for NGA's Sensor Integrations (TIS) Office
  • Act as the Lead Engineer's liaison to AWS to ensure the expected services/products are delivered
  • Develop and maintain systems engineering documentation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new sensor capabilities into the Enterprise architecture

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Imagery Analysis, or related STEM degree program
  • 18+ years of experience working in government or industry in relevant work areas including DoD/IC Acquisition Process, Requirements Process, PPBES Process, or systems engineering of large complex System of Systems or Service Oriented Architecture environments residing in cloud, on premise, or hybrid infrastructures
  • Experience with and strong understanding of systems engineering lifecycle
  • Solid understanding of Cloud Engineering
  • TS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass a polygraph
