Job SummaryThis position is contingent upon contract award and requires a senior generator technician with expertise in power generation operation and maintenance. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of technical concepts, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Expertise: Provide technical support for power generation operations, including maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting.
- Documentation and Reporting: Develop and maintain accurate and detailed documentation, including reports and technical notes.
- Safe Work Practices: Ensure compliance with safe work practices and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) regulations.
- Lockout and Tag Out Procedures: Implement and maintain lockout and tag out procedures to ensure safe operation of equipment.
- Communication: Effectively communicate technical information to stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
- Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent and a power generation certification with 10 years of experience in power generation operations, or 12 years' Military or civilian equivalent experience in power generation operations.
- Clearance: US Citizen with Final Top-Secret Clearance based upon a TIER 5 Background Investigation and favorable eligibility determination for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) IAW ICD 704.
