This position will be responsible for managing and processing incoming payments, ensuring transactions are timely and accurate, and that remittances are accurately coded and allocated.

Responsibilities:

  • Verify and record payments made to the company, reconcile balances, and maintain records.
  • Prepare regular reports on the status of accounts, aging reports, and collection activity for management review.
  • Monitor Accounts Receivable/collections.
  • Reconcile daily and monthly deposits.
  • Post journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts as needed.
  • Process monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Assist with the month-end closing process.
  • Process and send invoices to clients or customers, ensuring all relevant information is accurate and complete.
  • Create the daily activity report (DAR).
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Energetic, self-starter with a positive attitude.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong attention to detail with well-developed organizational and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of general accounting principles.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion.

Experience/Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting a plus.
  • 1-3 years experience in an accounting role.
