Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer - Sheet Metal

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at PEKO Precision Products Inc. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for creating complex quotes and processing sheet metal parts and assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate job estimates, including material pricing and labor costs, during the bid process.
  • Review and ensure the scope of work is accurately interpreted.
  • Review specifications, project plans, and drawings to ensure compliance.
  • Arrange Bills of Materials and communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with sheet metal, quality, and technical staff to drive process improvements.
  • Communicate project progress to management and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, mechanical, industrial engineering, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer, with 3+ years in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with blueprint reading and GD&T required.
  • Background in maintenance and process engineering.
  • Basic understanding of sheet metal manufacturing and designing tooling.
