Job Title: Pediatric Transport Nurse

Job Summary:

We are seeking a part-time experienced RN for Pediatric Ground Transport. The successful candidate will facilitate specialized transport of critically ill and hospitalized children in a safe and expeditious process, achieving optimal clinical outcomes.

Responsibilities:

* Facilitate specialized transport of critically ill and hospitalized children
* Maintain advanced pediatric assessment skills in the delivery of care for specialized groups of patients
* Ensure the team is used efficiently and assists with transport triage in conjunction with the Medical Control Officer and/or the Medical Director
* Provide exceptional interpersonal skills and display a caring demeanor towards others

Requirements:

* 3 years in PICU or other relevant ICU setting required
* 3 years of previous transport experience preferred
* BSN or MSN
* BLS (American Heart Association)
* PALS (American Heart Association)
* TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course) or ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support)
* CCRN eligible or plan to obtain CCRN within 6 months-1 year of hire
* RN license, eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a RN
* Proficient in English, strong verbal, and written communication skills
