Pediatric Transport Nurse

We are seeking a part-time experienced RN for Pediatric Ground Transport. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience in a PICU or other relevant ICU setting and 3 years of previous transport experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Facilitate specialized transport of critically ill and hospitalized children in a safe and expeditious process.
- Assume responsibility in maintaining advanced pediatric assessment skills in the delivery of care for specialized groups of patients.
- Ensure that the team is used efficiently and assists with transport triage in conjunction with the Medical Control Officer and/or the Medical Director.
- 3 years in PICU or other relevant ICU setting required.
- 3 years of previous transport experience preferred.
- Education: BSN or MSN.
- Certifications required upon start: BLS (American Heart Association), PALS (American Heart Association), TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course) or ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support).
- CCRN eligible or plan to obtain CCRN within 6 months-1 year of hire.
- RN license, eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a RN.
- Proficient in English, strong verbal, and written communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skill and the ability to display a caring demeanor towards others.
- Proficient computer skills required.
